Jandy Ray-Vac Hose Swivel Rebuild Kit Replaces 4047 Part # R0378200

Jandy R0378200 Ray-Vac Hose Swivel Rebuild Kit.  This kit replaces Jandy part number 4047.

The following instructions are to be used with the Jandy R0378200 Ray Vac swivel rebuilding kit.

Rebuilding the line swivel in Jandy Ray Vac pool cleaners. The following instructions must be followed exactly. Read through the Jandy Ray Vac swivel rebuild instructions completely before starting the procedure.

Rebuilding the Jandy Ray Vac Line Swivel.

• 1. Turn off power to the Ray Vac. Locate and remove the line swivel from the Ray Vac hose.
• 2. Grasp the swivel housing with a pair of pliers and the H.T. swivel ball bearing with another pair of pliers. Hold the swivel housing and unscrew the H.T. swivel ball bearing. Remove the line swivel washer.
• 3. Insert a small screwdriver into the end of the HT swivel ball bearing and lift out the black line swivel U-cup and the line swivel washer.
• 4. Place the new line swivel washer and then the new line swivel U-cup into the HT swivel ball bearing with the cup facing up.
• 5. Place the new line swivel washer around the threads of the HT swivel ball bearing.
• 6. Thread the line swivel housing onto the HT swivel ball bearing and tighten. Do Not overtighten plastic parts.
• 7. replace the line swivel assembly on the Ray Vac hose. Restore power to the Ray Vac and test the system for proper operation.
